Philip Stanton at the Jorge Alcolea-Nonell gallery

Philip Stanton mentioned to me this morning how he started painting a portrait of a woman, and after learning about the outcome of Pau Donés, the painting led him to create this artwork, which he ultimately titled "La Flaca."

A Cuban woman, full of color, like all of Stanton's works.

Philip enjoyed sharing musical moments with Jarabe de Palo; his passion for music united them forever.
